Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Pittsburgh Water is requesting bids for the Hydraulic Valve Replacement Program. The scope of work includes replacement of existing hydraulic valve actuators with electric motor actuators for filter operating and control valves and all the phases of electrical and instrumentation and control work. The Work also includes provision of backup power supply and its appurtenances and SCADA integration to facilitate automation for filter backwash cycle. Questions Due Date: Aug 20th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten (10%) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. Article 6 of the General Conditions, as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions, sets forth Owner's requirements as to performance and payment bonds and insurance. When the Successful Bidder delivers the Agreement (executed by Successful Bidder) to Owner, it shall be accompanied by required bonds and insurance documentation. Owner reserves the right to reject any Bid and/or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. PN - 2023-100-105-0
