Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 2, 2b, 3, 3a, or 5 Estimated Range $20,000,001 to $35,000,000 The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 11,885 Cy Excavation, Unclassified 15,801 T Stone Matrix Asphalt 12.5 Mm Surface Course 6,977 T Binder Rich Intermedite Course 111,641 Sy High Friction Surface Treatment 6,000 Lf Construction Barrier Curb 25,356 Lf Beam Guide Rail Bridge: Quantity Unit Description 500 Lf Concrete Bridge Parapet With Moment Slab, Hpc 600 Lf Drilled Shift in Soil 36" Diameter 270 Lf Drilled Shift in Rock 36" Diameter 1,672 Ls Retaining Wall, Location No. 5,250 Lf Vibration Monitoring 82,000 Lb Reinforcement Steel, Epoxy Coated Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). DOT reserves its right to reject any or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33.
