The work includes the abandonment of two existing septic fields, construction of a new septic field, installation of new 1000 gallon septic tanks, three dosing pumps with controls, and PVC force mains. Bidders must use the prepared Proposal Form, enclose the proposal in a sealed envelope addressed to the Township Clerk and clearly marked with the name and address of the bidder and contract name, and deliver it on or before the specified time. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, bid bond, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, not to exceed $20,000, together with a "Consent of Surety" from a surety company authorized to do business in New Jersey, stating that it will provide a bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price bid. Required documents include: Certified Check, Treasurer's Check, or Bid Bond in the proper amount; Consent of Surety; Corporation or Partnership Statement Form; Non-Collusion Affidavit; New Jersey Business Registration Certificate; and Acknowledgement of Receipt of Changes to Bid Documents Form (if applicable). Bid proposals and documents must be signed by a duly authorized person on behalf of the bidder. Instructions must be followed exactly or the bid may be declared non-responsive. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept such bids that serve its best interests and the right to waive informality in received bids.
