The work to be done for this project, shown on the Drawing entitled, Mallard Lake Landfill - 2025 Road Maintenance prepared by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County dated July 2025, consists of repairing and regrading the perimeter road at the Mallard Lake Landfill. The project objective is to repair the subject roads, by eliminating defects such as potholes, ruts and damage from erosion, and to raise the road level to achieve a crowned roadway with positive drainage. The work shall consist of placing asphalt road grindings to a nominal thickness of 3 inches in potholes, ruts and rills; grading, leveling and compacting along approximately 5,500 linear feet of road. The work includes the supply, transport and mobilization of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for completing the work in the areas specified and is further defined in Section 6: Special Provisions
