Questions Due Date: Aug 8th 2025, 12:00 PM EDT Written notification/questions must be received through the procurement portal under Messages and Opportunity Q&A Online Portal PERMIT SET C23056 The work will consist of, but not limited to, construction of concrete sidewalk and curb, underground detention system, installation of (2) two EV Charging Stations, Omni Flow lighting systems consisting of 7 - 26' poles with the 07 Omni-Flow head (approximately 4' in diameter) using 15 LED lights, brand name or equal, asphalt paving, grass pavers, tree planting and relocation per ANSI A300 part 6 by a certified arborist, and pollinator garden on 516 Coleman Blvd. Work also includes pavement marking and striping. The construction time for this project shall be one hundred and fifty (150) calendar days from the commencement date in the Notice to Proceed. The contractor shall be responsible for securing the site during special events at the direction of the Town. The scope of work is more completely described in the plans and specifications. The Procurement Division for the Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) will receive Bids from qualified and interested Bidders the construction of the 516 Coleman Boulevard Parking Lot, as specified within the Bid Documents contained herein. Bids must be submitted electronically on the Bid Form as provided with the Bid Documents. The Bids must be signed by an official authorized to bind the bid for a period sixty (60) calendar days for acceptance by the Town. Bids must be submitted showing the above bid title as reflected on page one (1) of the solicitation document. A Bid deposit is required from all Bidders, equal to five (5%) percent of the Bid amount. These deposits may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bond. Separate Performance and Material and Labor Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful Bidder upon signing of the Contract. Bonding is required for Bids of $50,000 or more. All contractors must be properly licensed by the State of South Carolina. This Invitation does not commit the Town to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a Bid, or to procure or contract for the articles of goods or services. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the solicitation, to negotiate with all qualified Bidders, to accept or reject any or all Bids received as a result of this Invitation, to cancel in part or in its entirety and to award or refrain from awarding the project to any Bidder, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so.
