Renovation of a library in Markham, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The City of Markham is soliciting Bids to repair the Milliken Mills CC Library's exterior block walls. The existing block walls have deteriorated and are showing pressure cracks and signs of water penetration. The glass block walls will be replaced with a glass curtain wall that will provide a consistent look to the library's exterior and continue to ensure structural integrity of the building envelope. The glass block walls are original and were installed in 1989. Restricted to Vendors qualified under 097-P-23 - Prequalification for City-Wide General Contractors - Category B. Vendors not prequalified cannot bid on this project. This document is available for purchase at https://markham.bidsandtenders.ca for the nonrefundable sum of $30.00.
