Site work for a water / sewer project in Oregon, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project 1 consists of the rehabilitation of 8 inch, 12 inch, and 15 inch sanitary sewer with a cured in place lining method. This project also includes the lining of 130 sanitary sewer laterals, and 406 VLF of sanitary sewer manholes and related work. Project 2 consists of the excavation and pipe repair of 11 sanitary sewer chimney riser connections, installation of 3 sanitary sewer manholes, repair of storm sewer, and associated restoration. This project is being funded by an Ohio EPA Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) loan. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and the Information To Bidders. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be satisfactory to the City and be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. the requirements for a performance bond or a bid guaranty and contract bond for 100% of the contract price. The City of Oregon intends and requires that this project be completed no later than December 31, 2026. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Council of the City of Oregon, Ohio, reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
