Site work for a water / sewer project in Oregon, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
In general, the project consists of the removal and replacernent of 12" and 18" storm sewer along Eastmoreland Dr. between S. Wheeling Street and S. Berlin Avenue. The work also ineludes the installation of storm sewer manholes, restoration, and related work. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and the Information To Bidders. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be satisfactory to the City and be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Lucas County and the City of Oregon, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Council of the City of Oregon, Ohio, reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
