“The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The Telfair County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed proposals from qualified, licensed general contractors for the remodel of the Community Development Center and Conference Room. This project includes renovation work in multiple areas of the facility, including the conference room, kitchen, hallways, public restrooms, and storage rooms. . Full remodel of the conference room, including: - New sheetrock on all walls in the conference room - Drop ceiling with 2x2 acoustical ceiling tiles (specify style with TBOC) - New A/C ductwork and returns - New thermostats - New LED dimmable lighting (approved by BOC) - New carpet tiles (specify pattern or color; approval by BOC) - New base cove - Built-up stage (2x6 height-12inch on center); electrical trough across floor joists for electrical access with three access panels; ramp on one side plus a secured handrail(s). - One access panel in wall behind stage - Two (2) wall outlets for data on left & right sides with plug-ins - Ten (10) wall outlets down L & R walls 2. Renovation of the kitchen area, including: - Repair ceiling spots and install new LED lights - New flooring installation - Refinish and paint cabinets - New countertops (Formica; approved by BOC) 3. Renovation of hallways, including: - New LED lighting (approved by BOC) - New carpet tiles (specify pattern and color with TBOC) - New base cove - Remove water fountains throughout building except by the commissioner's office and replace with new unit - Interior painting (touch-up as needed) 4. Remodel of three (3) public restrooms in the hall ADA compliant designs approved by BOC 5. Remodel of two (2) storage rooms including flooring installation 6. Installation of wood trim around all new interior windows 7. Installation of new siding above and below exterior windows 8. Replacement of all exterior wooden doors with FRP doors 9. Replacement of interior doors with 6 panel wood doors where needed 10.
