The city of grants pass is soliciting sealed written requests for expressions of interest proposals to identify feasible and potential uses for the building / caretaker's cottage structure in riverside park from parties interested in partnering with the city of grants pass. Respondents to this request for expressions of interest (rfei) will submit a proposal detailing how the building would be used and any anticipated changes to the site within and immediately around the building. This rfei represents the initial step in soliciting proposals from qualified individuals/businesses. Responses to this rfei must demonstrate the proposer's specific intended use for the building/site. Any response should anticipate a lease arrangement; the city has no intention to sell the building or property. Further, respondents shall demonstrate proven success for the proposed use. Facsimile proposals are not acceptable. The city's selection process will be based upon an evaluation of the submitted proposals by a selection team and ranked upon the following criteria. O completeness of the proposal relative to rfei requirements. (15 pts) O demonstrated experience of the proposer for proposed building use. (50 pts) O ability to meet the needs of the city of grants pass; I.E., business purpose. (25 pts) O proposer references. (10 pts) The selection team will recommend an award based upon the evaluation criteria. At the city's discretion, interviews may be conducted with the top ranked proposer(s).
