The Contractor will perform, for the benefit of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission ("Commission"), landscaping and snow/ice removal services at the Commission's Discovery Center property for a contract of 1-year with two 1-year extensions or amendments. Landscaping will be conducted 3 times between June and October during each year, and snow/ice removal will be conducted between November and April of the following year. The Services shall be performed by the chosen Contractor in a professional, courteous, competent and motivated manner. Contract term: 1-year contract with two 1-year extensions MWBE Goals - Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to reply. The goal for Minority Business is 15%. The goal for Women owned Business is 15%. SDVOB Goals - Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOB) are encouraged to reply. The goal for SDVOB is 6%. Term - Seeking a contractual agreement for the term of 1-year beginning November 1, 2025 and ending October 31st, 2026 with the possibility of two subsequent 1-year extensions. The Discovery Center will be undergoing physical changes and the Scope of Work will likely need to be adjusted on an annual basis. Any extension will be in writing and changes agreed to by both the Commission and the Contractor. The Commission reserves the right to terminate for any reason at any time.
