Reference Number 0000395748 The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to identify and retain a qualified Quality Control (QC) Arborist for the City of Albany's Block Pruning Program. MWBE-Certified vendors are encouraged to submit proposals The City of Albany implemented cyclical street tree maintenance (block pruning) in the fall of 2024. The purpose of block pruning is to promote tree vitality, mitigate tree risk, and decrease emergency storm response frequency. Block pruning is performed during the dormant season defined as November 1st through March 31st. The City of Albany seeks the services of a QC Arborist to provide real-time quality checks for the City's Block Pruning Program. The QC Arborist will ensure continuity of work amongst different pruning crews. The QC Arborist will remain on site with crew(s), perform real-time quality checks, ensure contractor technical specification compliance, and document completed work. The QC Arborist will digitally submit the completed Daily Report to the City. Question Deadline 08/29/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No .
