Renovation of a water / sewer project in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000396203 The project includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction to install a duct heater on existing ductwork in the Beaver Creek Satellite Treatment Facility. This work includes all electrical modifications necessary to power the new heater, and coordinate with owner, integrator, and manufacturer to start-up system. Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required - Warranty Information Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If a bid deposit is not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The City of Albany MWBE Subcontractor and Minority/Women Labor Participation Policy applies to this project. These contracts have an MWBE subcontractor participation goal of 15%. Subcontractors may be City or State-Certified MWBEs. These Contracts also have a Minority/Women Labor Participation goal of 30% of the total labor force hours.
