Site work for a mixed-use development in Beatrice, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project includes the following: Tear out and replace approximately 90'x5' of concrete with hydronic tubing installed per specifications. Remove existing drain grate cover and reinstall over newly constructed 10' drain slot that is connected to sump pit. Install new valves, gauges, and/or tubing as needed from existing boiler to ramp area for supply/return going to ramp. Pressure test system. Fill with glycol antifreeze. Remove and save existing handrails/ poles, identify location of poles. Reinstall handrails/poles in same location as they were. * Install stucco coating to the existing concrete wall sides of ramp to match existing coating and color. Specifications: Fiber reinforced 3500psi concrete to be 4" thick with GFRP rebar. Hydronic tubing to be 1/2" oxygen barrier PEX tubing spaced every 12" on center placed on 3 1/2 " foam board. PEX tubing loop to be no longer than 300' The existing Rheem boiler is 18 kw to supply heated water to ramp. Entering temperature to the melting coils should be in the range of 140 BTUH per sq. ft. Scheduling is to coordinate with other work being done in this project. (column support removed, lintel installed, and new automatic sliding door installed.) This work will have to be done in a very timely manner as we will be without handicap accessibility during construction.
