PROJECT OVERVIEW Racine County is accepting bids to install floating dockage for Phase 1 of the Revitalization Project of the Racine Reef Point Marina located at 2 Christopher Columbus Causeway, Racine, WI 53403. The floating docks themselves are being furnished by the County and will be delivered to the project site. The Phase 1 Dock Installation Rebid includes: Demolition and removal of a pre-cast concrete panels and associated piles at the outer end of the existing east concrete fixed pier. Demolition will include removing old utility conduits. Furnish and install steel pipe piles to anchor the floating dockage Furnish and install the utilities across Phase 1, including: Fuel system. Note the fuel dispensers on the fuel dock (Dock X) are in this contract. The fuel lines for this contract will only be installed from the fuel dock up to the shoreline and at the concrete abutment of the east concrete fixed pier, Dry fire standpipe system Plumbing, including pump out sanitary lines and system and domestic water lines Furnish and install the Fuel Dock Building, deck, and pile supported foundation at the end of the existing concrete fixed pier and the utility systems within the Fuel Dock Building. Note that the electrical and telecommunication utility system is being bid under a separate contract. Bidders should be aware that there is a specific line item for coordinating with the electrical contractor, to facilitate a seamless transition as possible. Phase 1 includes Docks V, U, T, X, N, and O. Note that Dock Y will be installed in a future phase.
