Reference number: 20084873 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2025-08-11 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 48 The City of Bois-des-Filion wishes to receive bids from companies specializing in municipal outdoor pool management for the management of its pool. The contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, minor operation and maintenance of the pool, the adjacent promenade and various pool accessories, operation and maintenance of the water treatment system, supervision during open swim periods, preparation and implementation of a swimming course program, and housekeeping of the mechanical room and premises. The contract will run for four (4) years, from the 2026 to 2029 summer seasons. Only bidders with a place of business in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of public procurement concluded with Quebec and applicable to the City may submit a bid. Any breach of this obligation by a tenderer may result in the rejection of its tender. To be considered, the bid must be accompanied by a bid security of a minimum value of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid (taxes included), valid for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening date, in one of the forms described below: a certified cheque or bank draft payable to Ville de Bois-des-Filion; or a bid bond issued by an insurance company authorized by the Autorite des marches financiers du Quebec (AMF) to act as surety. The bid bond must also be accompanied by a letter of undertaking, issued by an insurance company holding an insurer's licence issued by the AMF authorizing it to act as surety, stipulating that a surety bond, representing one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid (including taxes), will be granted to the bidder if its bid is accepted. The Ville de Bois-des-Filion does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received and assumes no obligation whatsoever towards the bidder(s).
