Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

This project provides funding for improvements to the buildings and grounds at Historic Bethabara Park. FY 25-26 funding will address major maintenance at the Potter's House, which includes foundation/structural improvements, exterior repairs, drainage improvements, and replacement of the roof. Appropriations in FY 27-28 will be used for improvements to the Log House, which includes installation of downspouts and additional drainage, roof ridge beam improvements, wood rot repairs, shutter replacements, and termite/insect damage repairs. FY 29-30 funding will provide for miscellaneous improvements to the park facilities, such as driveways, drainage, and other identified needs. As of July 24, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2025-2026, 2027-2028, and 2029-2030. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
