Santa Cruz District, Districtwide Alarm Contract Solicitation Number: C25715001, 0000035878 Description: The purpose of this contract is to provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, permits, supplies, parts, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide security system installation, and repair, maintenance, and technical support services, as well as twenty-four (24) hour security alarm monitoring and notification, and fire alarm monitoring at eight (8) locations in Santa Cruz and San Mateo Counties within the Santa Cruz District Questions and Answers: Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the contract documents or doubts as to meaning shall be brought to the State's attention by emailing your questions to G.G-Miksicek@parks.ca.gov. Answers will be provided by Addendum on this website, and it is the responsibility of the bidders to download any addendum as needed. Locations include Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Big Basin Redwoods State Park, The Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park, Seacliff State Beach, Wilder Ranch State Park, and Half Moon Bay State Beach License(s) Required: C-7 Low Voltage or C-10 Contractors License, Estimate: $ 25,000.00 Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 6%. However, mandatory DVBE Program Participation has been WAIVED for this project. DVBE Incentive Still Applies: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who meet or exceed the 6% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the DVBE forms (DPR 486, DPR 489, and DGS PD 843) included in the attached Bid Booklet. Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor Participation: A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a completed DPR 87 Form must be submitted with the bid proposal). Public Works Contractor Registration Program No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Only the alarm installation and repair components of this contract are subject to these requirements. Economic Sanctions refers to sanctions imposed by the U.S. government in response to Russia's actions in Ukraine, as well as any sanctions imposed under state law. By submitting a bid or proposal, Contractor represents that it is not a target of Economic Sanctions. Should the State determine Contractor is a target of Economic Sanctions or is conducting prohibited transactions with sanctioned individuals or entities, that shall be grounds for rejection of the Contractor's bid/proposal any time prior to contract execution, or, if determined after contract execution, shall be grounds for termination by the State.
