The project location in the County of Santa Cruz is as follows: The project consists of 2-inch overlays, digouts, berm repairs etc. starting at the bottom of Park Dr, in Ben Lomond, CA and ending at the top of Valley View Road, including some side streets in the Lomond Terrace subdivision. There are 55 working days in this contract. Not to exceed $220,000 The Contractor must have either a Class A license or a combination of Class C-12 licenses which constitutes a majority of the work. Contractor and all listed subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Labor Code. Overlay and Asphalt Repair Project for Lomond Terrace Road Association CSA 28 **See Attachment A for further details** The project consists of 2 inch overlays, digouts, berm repairs etc. starting at the bottom of Park Dr, in Ben Lomond and ending at the top of Valley View Rd. including some side streets in the Lomond Terrace subdivision. o Preparatory work for overlays shall include, cleaning surface, removing leaf debris on sides of roadway, A paint binder of asphaltic emulsion shall be applied to all surfaces before paving, and other preparatory work that is standard in the industry for surface overlays. Finished surface to be compacted and rolled. o Digouts shall consist of saw cutting, excavating, removing and disposing of existing depth of pavement and any unsuitable aggregate base if necessary. Digouts shall be a minimum of 4" above the subgrade depending on the depth of old asphalt removed. o Asphalt concrete shall be type A with 1/2 inch maximum-medium aggregate, with exception of Asphalt used for berm construction which will be 3/8". Aggregate for Base shall be Class 2. The Contractor shall complete all or any designated portions of the work called for under the contract in all parts and requirements within 55 working days (except as modified in the technical specifications).
