Site work for a civil project in Marathon, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of September 09, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City of Marathon is installing approximately 5,010 linear feet of 16" DR 11 HDPE with five plug valves via directional drill method of installation beginning at the south side of the Robert H. Dopps Bridge on Coco Plum Drive and running southeast down Coco Plum Drive to the corner of Avenue I and Coco Plum Drive where the Area 6 Wastewater Treatment Facility is located at 100 Avenue I. Work includes the procurement and installation of five 16" plug valves, along with the necessary fittings to ensure proper piping installation. Installation of the piping via directional drill method is selected due to the large number of existing utilities both overhead and underground in the City of Marathon and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) right-of-way areas. All associated components of the project will be as detailed in the Contract Plans as well as the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Question Deadline 08/25/2025: All inquiries and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the Bidding Documents shall be made in writing to the City Representative, at least ten (10) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids
