Reference Number 0000298745 Question Acceptance Deadline Aug 05, 2025 02:00 PM EDT There is currently an issue with the height of current two (2) overhead roll up doors located on the North Side of the Commercial / Warehouse Building at the Prescott Port-of-Entry. CSBA officers are required to offload the contents of a transport trailer through these overhead doors. However, the current 2440 mm high doors are lower than the height of some trailers. As such, due to the current height of the existing doors these larger trailers cannot be easily unloaded and require their contents to be transferred by hand back and forth. This requires a significantly greater time amount of time and is considerably more physically strenuous work. This project proposes to remove the existing overhead doors and install new doors of greater height. By increasing the door height to 3050 mm, these new doors will be able to accommodate trailers of all heights up to and including high cube trailers and high cube sea containers entering Canada. This will allow CBSA Officers to off load box trailers and stage the contents straight out of the trailer.
