The Brown Street Bridge Beams Ends Encasement Project in North Adams, MA, is located on Brown Street, connecting River Street and West Main Street. The bridge is situated over the Hoosic River, specifically the West Branch. Due to structural issues, the bridge has been closed to traffic since March 2023. In the above structure the beams are deteriorated to the point where encasement is needed in order to return the structure in service.
