Site work and paving for a civil project in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a development; for paving for a development; and road / highway.
Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to City of Greenfield at least five (5) days before the Bid opening date. Contractors who are on the Wisconsin Department of Transportation qualified contractor list do not need to submit a qualification statement. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond payable to City of Greenfield equal to 5 percent of the Bid. Bidder is required to upload a copy of Bid Security to Online and deliver the original bid bond within 48 hours after close of bid to Ruekert & Mielke, Attn: Greg Calhoun. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Bid Bond may be forfeited to City of Greenfield as liquidated damages.
