Sanitary Sewer (Gravity), Tree Cutting, Aggregate, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Water Main (Repair/Replace) Rehabilitation, Street/Road Asphalt Milling, Traffic Control, Fire Hydrant, Landscaping, Stormwater Improvements, Excavation, Erosion Control - Temporary, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete), Grubbing & Clearing, Signage, Waterlines. The work shall consist of extending W. Holmes Avenue approximately 80-feet, including utilities, to serve a future residential development. Major items of work and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: 105 inch-diameter of clearing and grubbing 190 cubic yards of common excavation 230 tons of base aggregate dense 30 square yards of concrete driveway 170 lineal feet of concrete curb & gutter 25 lineal feet of storm sewer pipe & associated structures 97 lineal feet of ductile iron water main pipe & associated structures 60 lineal feet of water service piping 80 lineal feet of sanitary sewer main & associated structures 75 lineal feet of sanitary sewer lateral piping 75 tons of HMA pavement 3 each signs 320 square yards of restoration (topsoil, seed, fertilizer and erosion mat). BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of the OWNER. The Bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall be required to furnish a performance bond acceptable to the OWNER for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Also, no bid can be resubmitted by a bidder that has successfully withdrawn a bid prior to the bid opening. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informality in bidding which serves the interests of the OWNER.
