This request for quotes (RFQ) is submitted and available to qualified vendors for relining/replacing the underground pipes at Taylor Elementary School. Vendor is required to provide demolition, materials, labor, and shipping for the completion of the following: Taylor Elementary School 5265 Bates Pike SE, Cleveland, TN 37323 Reline underground pipes to Lines A, B, C, D, E and F. All pipes must be thoroughly cleaned before repairs. All lines will need to be repaired with Blue Light Re-lining system except for Line D. Line D will need to be excavated due to the misaligned pipe and the cross intersections Lines A, B, C, and F will need reinstatement of branch lines. Excavate & replace pipes, then backfill with crushed stone. Clean-up work site. Certificate of Liability Insurance State Contractor License if project is bid over $25,000 per Section 62-6-102, TCA, that requires a license contractor if the contract exceeds $25,000 If the contract exceeds $50,000, an allowance must be made to include an architect or engineer stamped drawings per Section 62-2-107, TCA. If the contract exceeds $100,000, an allowance must be made to include a payment & performance bond for 25% of the project per Section 12-4-201, TCA. Bradley County Schools shall have at least twenty (20) days from the date of the invoice in which to pay for each completed service. Invoices may be submitted and become due as noted in this paragraph for each progress billing or completed project. In making the award, the Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Board also reserves the right to consider factors other than the lowest price submitted. Bidders agree, by their signature appearing on the bid form, to the Board's right to be the final judge in the award of this bid. Any bid which does not comply with the bidding conditions and specifications shall be considered unacceptable. The Bradley County Board of Education reserves the right to use judgment factors in determining which proposal shall be in its best interest, and the exercise of that judgment shall be binding upon all companies submitting bids. The Bradley County Board of Education reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids and is under no obligation to make an award following the opening of bids.
