Site work for a water / sewer project in Queen City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work as follows Tank Rehabilitation, including sandblasting and coating of a 100,000-gallon elevated storage tank to also include replacing of a steel roof hatch, installation of fall protection to the ladders, among other minor tank repairs. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Queen City, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Queen City, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. . Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
