The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental work for: The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for modifying the 3.5 MG ground level steel water storage tank no. 2's internal roof support structure; and for the interior and exterior recoating of the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2 (built 1994), 0.2 MG backwash tank (built 2000); and other related facilities at a water treatment plant. All facilities are owned by the Sacramento County Water Agency and are located near the intersection of Big Horn Blvd and Dwight Road, in Elk Grove, CA 95758. (Please refer to the Project Plans' cover sheet for a vicinity map.). The work includes, but is not limited to, inspection blast of interior inner ring roof rafter beams at center vent of the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; replacement of the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2's center column dollar plate with a new steel conical truss rafter support structure; cutback of inner ring roof rafter beams (approximately 12 to 18 inches) in the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; removal and reinstallation of temporary tank opening door sheet on the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; installation of two new roof vents atop the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; installation of a perimeter guard rail atop the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2 and 0.2 MG backwash tank; surface preparation and coating application of the interior and exterior surfaces of the 3.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2 and the 0.2 MG backwash tank; exterior surface preparation and coating application of one hydropneumatic tank (8-ft dia, 28 ft-ft long), one filter (8-ft dia, 32-ft long), all above ground piping and appurtenances connected to the filters, one raw water well and related piping, one (7-pump) treated water booster station, one (2-pump) backwash supply booster station, one (2-pump) reclaimed water booster station, one meter vault piping and appurtenances, one valve vault piping and appurtenances, the site conduits, five (5) fire hydrants; and, compliance with all health, safety, and other applicable federal, state or local regulations whose jurisdiction the facilities are located within. Question Deadline 08/21/2025 at 10:00 AM PT Any inquiries or requests regarding this solicitation must be submitted via online. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents; however, if none are provided, the surety may issue on its own paper. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a material and labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the County of Sacramento, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Award of this contract requires a valid California contractor's license with the classification identified above. Public Contract Code, section 4104(a)(1), requires that any person making a bid must submit the name, location of the place of business, and the subcontractor's license number on the bid form.
