Estimate for this project is $125,000. This project includes updating existing fire alarm system at (4) old existing campus buildings, upgrade existing main fire alarm control panel, loop in (2) new existing buildings with new FACP for a new single campus-wide fire alarm. This project requires a Class C-10 license. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a form provided by the District and accompanied by Money Order or Bidder's Bond from a surety company registered with the State of California Insurance Commissioner, for Ten Percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the District. The abovementioned money order or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the Contract, if it be awarded to him, in conformity with the Contract Documents. Simultaneously with the execution of the contract, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount all in accordance with the Contract Documents. WITHDRAWAL OF PROPOSALS Any bidder may withdraw his bid, either personally or by faxed written request, at any time prior to the scheduled closing time or authorized postponement thereof. Bids not so withdrawn may not then be withdrawn, canceled or modified during the time designated in the Notice to Contractors, except as otherwise provided by law. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic modifications will be considered. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding.
