Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Freeport, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.

Bid Security Bond of 5% of Base Bid required. A bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check equal to the amount specified is acceptable in lieu of a bid bond. Demolition Permit Applications must be submitted to the Community and Economic Development Department within 7 days of notice of award. The City of Freeport requests bids from qualified companies to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for the demolition of identified properties and remove all structures, accessory buildings, fences, driveways and scrub trees within property lines. Demolition, asbestos abatement, and site restoration to be completed within 15 days of contract being awarded unless deadline extended by Community and Economic Development Director Bidders MUST be registered as contractors with the City of Freeport prior to bid opening Demolition Site must be secured by a fence (minimum of 4' high chain link fence) at all times until the site is rough graded.
