The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a bid response for grounds maintenance for various Dane County Locations. The County intends to use the results of this process to award a contract(s) or issuance of purchase order for the product(s) and or services(s) stated above. The contract shall be effective on the date indicated on the Dane County purchase order or the Dane County contract execution date and shall run until the end of that calendar year, with options by mutual agreement of the County and Contractor, to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods. If applicable, any renewal terms are not automatic extensions. Vendor performance may be taken into consideration in the decision by the contracting agencies and the Purchasing Division to either continue this contract into each possible renewal term or to terminate and re-bid this contract. Term 1: January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026 Term 2: January 1, 2027 - December 31, 2027 Term 3: January 1, 2028 - December 31, 2028 Term 4: January 1, 2029 - December 31, 2029 Term 5: January 1, 2030 - December 31, 2030 Vendor Question Submission Deadline: August 21, 2025, 4:00pm Question Response Deadline: August 27, 2025, 4:00pm Any questions concerning this bid must be submitted via online. Requests submitted after that time will not be considered. Dane County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any technicality in any bid submitted and to accept any part of a bid as deemed to be in the best interests of the County. Submission of a proposal or a bid constitutes the making of an offer to contract and gives the County an option valid for 60 days after the date of submission to the County.
