This project involves comprehensive interior upgrades including flooring replacement, drywall repair, painting, plumbing and electrical updates, window and door replacements, and HVAC system improvements. Contractors with experience in residential renovations and a commitment to quality craftsmanship are encouraged to submit bids. Summary The City of Madison Community Development Authority ("City") is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for Enter the Title. Vendors submitting Bids ("Bidders") are required to read this Request for Bids ("RFB") in its entirety and follow the instructions contained hereinScope of Work o Replace front and rear storm doors. We use a white mid-view door with a reversible screen like a Menards Briarwood style in white. We use Patriot Lighting, brushed nickel Dylan style fixtures from Menards with 3 bulb fixtures in Kitchen and dining room 2 bulb in the bedrooms and 1 bulb in the hallways and we use LED bulbs. We use Patriot Lighting Westchester Chrome 3 light vanity lights in the bathrooms. Menards SKU 352-9151. o Replace kitchen flooring through the 1/2 bath up to the living room. We use commercial grade vinyl plank (glued down not floating), waterproof. Replace cove molding and transitions where flooring is replaced. The color should be a medium gray. o Replace the remainder of 1 st floor flooring with 12X12 VCT tiles like the Armstrong Excelon floor tile at Menards. The color should be similar to Fortress White 51839. Replace the cove molding and transition strips as needed. o Replace all interior HVAC registers throughout apt. o Replace all interior slab doors and bifold doors. 2- 36" bi-folds, 5-30" bifold, 4- 32" slab, 1 -36" slab and 1-18" slab for the small closet next to the half bath where the bifold is now. (I just use the bifold hardware to install it because 18" bi-folds aren't available anymore. I then add a cabinet magnet to keep it closed and a bifold knob) Door example: Mastercraft(R) 36"W x 80"H Golden Oak Woodgrain Flush Interior Door Only Model Number: 4090618 from Menards they have all the sizes and bifolds in this same color. o Downstairs bathroom replace vanity, sink, faucet, toilet and flooring. We use Kohler comfort height, elongated toilets for example: Kohler Highline Arc Model #K-78279-0. I usually get them from Home Depot. You get everything including seat, bolts etc. in 1 box.
