Anticipated Scope of Work and Service: Provide all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to remove and replace the shingled roof Roofing: o Remove and dispose of the existing roofing materials. Strip roof to bare wood. o Inspection and repair of the roof deck, re-nail existing plywood or other boards as needed. o Provide the cost per square to replace plywood or cost per linear foot to replace other boards, if needed. o Apply two courses of ice and water shield up from the eaves of roof and valleys, as specified by current county building code. o Apply new flashing/boots to all pipes, penetrations, and necessary areas. o Replace drip edge. o Replace continuous ridge vent - shingle-over style and Hip / Ridge cap. o Cover the remaining roof with high-performance roofing felt - synthetic underlayment. o Apply Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Laminated Architectural Roof Shingles in Driftwood to roof. General: o Installation shall be completed in accordance with the manufacturer's written instructions for all materials. o Repairs shall be made on an agreed upon date. o The contractor shall provide all related materials and labor required to complete the specified repairs necessary to receive the specified manufacturer's warranty. o The contractor shall keep the work area neat at the end of each workday, including a magnetic sweep of the driveways and surrounding area for nails, and contained through the duration of the job. o Comprehensive cleanup and removal of debris upon project completion, including a final magnetic sweep of the driveways and surrounding area for nails.
