Renovation of a municipal facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
There have been water leaks in several areas that affect the South side of the building including the west vestibule, south entrance, cafeteria and Prairie Lounge. The water infiltration is causing rusting to metal components of the building and envelope system. The scope of work will be to: Remove existing curtain wall caps and pressure plates. Clean and prepare existing pressure plates for new glazing tapes. Supply and install new glazing tapes onto existing pressure plates. Re-install existing pressure plates and use new pressure place fasteners. Re-install existing curtain wall caps. Optional for consideration: New curtain wall pressure plates and caps. TIMELINE: An RFP has closed. Award details will not be released. All inquiries are to be directed to the owner. Coverage has been discontinued.
