Reference Number 0000304421 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/10/24 02:00:00 PM CDT The Building Constructability Consultant (BCC) will be required to attend bi-weekly project meetings with the Owner Representative, Consultant Team and User Groups throughout a ten (10) month (minimum) design process and provide advice with respect to construction and market conditions. Additional meetings specific to the deliverables of each design phase will also be required. Meetings will be a combination of virtual (via MS Teams) or in person. The BCC must not rely solely on documentation provided by the Owner or Consultant(s) to inform their deliverables. The BCC will be required to perform ongoing site investigations, so that they are knowledgeable on the existing facility including, but not limited to clinical areas, building construction and systems. Each person of the BCC team visiting the site will be required to complete the SBH Safety Orientation (2-hour on-line training). The Consultant Team is anticipated to deliver the design of Contract 1A at an accelerated pace, being tender ready by October 16, 2025. As such, only the services described in 1.4.1, 1.4.2 and 1.4.5 will be required for Contract 1A. The Consultant Team is anticipated to commence the design of Contracts 1B and 2 immediately following the delivery of Contract 1A tender documents and continue through to August 12, 2026. All services described in 1.4.1 to 1.4.5 will be required for Contracts 1B and 2 The BCC shall collaborate with the Prime Consultant, Quantity Surveyor (yet to be awarded) and Project Team as outlined in articles 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.16, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5, of the MB Health Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Prime Consultant (copy available upon request).
