Reference Number 0000304387 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/10/21 12:00:00 PM CDT Providing equipment and labour to perform winter maintenance operations on Provincial Roads (PR) 227 and Provincial Trunk Highways (PTH) 1 Service Roads in the Province of Manitoba during the 2025/2026 winter season. The Work locations are: PR 227 from PTH 16 to PR 430 PTH 1 Service Roads Various Locations Work Performance During Standard Snowplowing Operations, the Contractor Shall Complete at Minimum, an Average of 20 Pass Kilometers of Plowing Per Working Hour. The Ars or Delegate Shall Conduct a Final Inspect of All Work Within 48 Business Hours of Completion. Liquidated Damages Notwithstanding the Specification for Liquidated Damages, 130.5 Working Days Shall Be Defined as the Time to Complete a Work Request as Detailed Below and Shall Apply to Each Request for Work. A Liquidated Damage of One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars Per Calendar Day Will Be Assessed to the Contractor for Snowplowing That Has Not Been Completed Within 48 Hours Following Notification From the Contract Administrator. A Liquidated Damage of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars Per Calendar Day Will Be Assessed to the Contractor for Hourly Work That Has Not Been Commenced Within 24 Hours Following Notification From the Area Works Supervisor or Their Delegate. Seasonal Shutdown The Seasonal Shutdown for This Project is: April 15, 2026 The work period will commence on approximately November 29, 2025 and conclude on approximately March 31, 2026, on every day with no days of rest.
