Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Walnut Creek, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 28,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; for site work for a swimming pool; and swimming pool.

Project has been REBID Notice is hereby given that the City of Walnut Creek ("CITY") has determined that all bidders on the NEW AQUATIC AND COMMUNITY CENTER AT HEATHER FARM PARK PHASE 2 ("PROJECT") to be undertaken by the CITY must be pre- qualified before submitting a bid on that project. It is mandatory that all Contractors who intend to submit a bid, fully complete the pre-qualification questionnaire, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by CITY to be on the final qualified bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements. If two or more business entities submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, or expect to submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, each entity within the Joint Venture must be separately qualified to bid. The City owns and operates an Aquatic Facility and a Community Center on the 102-acre Heather Farm Park. The Park land is recorded as Assessor Parcel Number 144-050-019. The PROJECT site is approximately 37.6 acres and is generally situated in the center and southern portion of the Park. The City hired Noll & Tam Architects and other design consultants, including Aquatic Studio, Inc., to prepare design documents that address the demolition of the existing community center and construction of the approximately 28,000 sf Aquatic and Community Center and a outdoor inground 50-meter competition level swimming pool, a separate in-ground recreational swimming pool, and an array of under and above ground site improvements. Phase 2, which is the subject of this GCRFPB is scheduled to commence on/about November 2025 and be substantially completed by December 2027. The PROJECT includes demolition of the existing community center and construction of the approximately 28,000 sf Aquatic and Community Center and an outdoor in-ground 50-meter competition level swimming pool, a separate in-ground recreational swimming pool, and an array of under and above ground site improvements.
