The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area ("Owner") is seeking Letters of Interest (LOI's) from qualified Park Planning Consultants to develop an aspirational concept plan for Blue Creek Metropark that would include the development of a new Toledo Lucas County Public Library within the park. The Agencies believe that the powerful partnership of nature and literacy will support each other in a symbiotic relationship that enhances cognitive development, mental health, environmental awareness and an appreciation for nature. One (1) PDF copy of the Letter of Interest must be submitted as instructed. The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area will directly select a firm based on the Letter of Interest. In general, the Planning Consultant shall bring together leadership from both Metroparks Toledo and the Toledo Lucas County Public Library in a focused planning effort to develop a shared aspirational vision for the park and for the new library.
