Water System Improvements Service Line Replacement Contract No. 2 The work of constructing Sterrett-Vandiver Water System Improvements Service Line Replacement DWSRF Project Contract 2 will be let under one Contract, the principal items of work are detailed herein below. 1. 96 3/4 " service line replacement main side of road. 2. 70 3/4 " service line replacements under roads. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 180 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. Question Deadline 08/15/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
