The City of Denison, hereinafter referred to as "City," seeks proposals for the replacement of the roof at the Norelius Community Library as hereinafter specified. The objective of this RFP is to obtain the best results and most acceptable proposal for service in our community. These specifications cover only the general requirements as to the type of construction and measurements. Minor details of construction and materials where not otherwise specified are left to the discretion of the contractor who shall be solely responsible for the design and construction of all features. No oral, E-mail, telephonic or facsimile proposals will be considered. For information concerning the bid process, please contact Jessica Garcia, Denison City Manager at (712) 263-3143. Award: The Contract shall be awarded to the Offeror who supplies the best offer in the judgment of the City. The criteria are not limited to the lowest cost. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, reject portions of any proposal, or accept the proposal or proposals deemed most advantageous to the City. Any interpretations, corrections and changes to this RFP or extensions to the opening/receipt date will be made by a written Addenda to the RFP by the City Manager. Sole authority to authorize addenda shall be vested in the City Manager as entrusted by the City of Denison City Council. Addenda will be posted online and emailed to all that are known to have received a copy of the RFP. Offerors shall acknowledge receipt of all addenda in their proposal.
