The Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism issoliciting responses from interested General Contractor to provide services for the construction of a Mena Trails Project, DBA Project pursuant toACA 19-4-1415, Alternative Delivery of method of contractingand the Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards andCriteria. The Arkansas Department ofParks, Heritage, and Tourismseeks qualified General Contractors for pre-construction professional services and construction of a state park expansion development in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, City of Mena, and Arkansas Parks and Recreation Foundation. The project will be located on state park controlled property (appoximately1,300 acres) located betweenWard Lake and Round Top Mountain. The Mena Trails project will create a unique and inspiring visitor experience with a focus ongravity-fed trails and unique statepark amenities and traditional facilities. The park expansion willinclude construction of a bikepark, lift system, visitor service facilities, restaurant, unique adventure facilities including a mountaincoaster, infrastructure and utilities, parking improvements, andrecreational site amenities Wage Rates will not apply tothis project. The State reservesthe right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formalities.
