This Negotiated Hourly Rate agreement will be for approximately 12 months in duration with the option for the City of Edgewood to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. Project Description The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of providing construction administration, field inspection and materials testing services for the construction of the 48th Street E Preservation project, scheduled for this fall and winter. The proposed improvements include removal of concrete panels, excavation, compaction and grading of a new pavement section, pavement marking, signing, surface restoration and traffic control. This project has a zero DBE goal for the consultant. The major features of the project are as follows: Approximately 0.36 miles of pavement reconstruction to include excavation and removal of concrete panels, reconstruction of the pavement section including construction geogrid, crushed surfacing and hot mix asphalt.
