Prevailing Wage Rates requirements apply to this Project because the maximum compensation for all Owner-contracted Work is more than $50,000. Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870, relative to Prevailing Wage Rates. The Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) wage rates and requirements set forth in the following BOLI booklet (and any listed amendments to that booklet), which are incorporated herein by reference, apply to the Work authorized under this Agreement. he Work will take place in Clackamas County, Oregon. Clackamas County encourages bids from Minority, Women, and Emerging Small Businesses. Pre bid meeting Description : Prime bidders who arrive more than ten (10) minutes after the start time of the meeting (as stated in the solicitation and by the County's watch) or after the discussion portion of the meeting (whichever comes first) shall not be permitted to sign in and will not be permitted to submit a bid on the project. Event Bid Description: Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the above Delivery address after the Bid Closing. Bid results will also be posted to the online listing shortly after the opening. Measurement and payment of the WORK will be on a unit price basis in accordance with the prices set forth in the proposal for individual WORK items. Where WORK is required but does not appear as a separate item in the bid schedule, the cost for that WORK shall be included and absorbed in the lump sum price of the Pump Station Upgrades, Complete item for each pump station. CONTRACTOR shall make a careful assessment when preparing the bid and provide a breakdown of contract price lump sum items as required by Section 01 33 00 Submittal Procedures. A. This section specifies concrete rehabilitation work below grade concrete structures such as wet wells and valves vaults. B. The scope of work includes the following: 1. Concrete rehabilitation Inspect in field and rehabilitate areas of damaged concrete surfaces with concrete rehabilitation mortar system specified herein. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish and install yard hydrants and all appurtenant work, complete and operable as shown on the plans and in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The yard hydrant shall be complete with mounting hardware and fittings. Split systems shall be factory assembled, single package, designed for indoor/outdoor installation. The units shall be factory wired, piped, and charged with R-410A refrigerant and factory tested prior to shipment. All unit wiring shall be both numbered and color coded. The cooling performance shall be rated in accordance with DOE and AHRI test procedures. Units shall be CSA certified to UL 1995 standards. A. This specification is to cover a complete Variable Frequency Drive (VFD aka: VFD, AFD, ASD, Inverter, AC Drive, et al) consisting of a pulse width modulated (PWM) inverter designed for use with a standard AC induction motor, synchronous reluctance (SynRM) and permanent magnet (PM) motors in wastewater applications. The VFD must provide a V/Hz or sensor-less vector mode of operation. B. The drive vendor shall supply the drive and all necessary options as specified VFDs that are manufactured by a third party and "brand labeled" shall not be acceptable. The WORK to be performed under these SPECIFICATIONS and DRAWINGS consists of WORK to four separate pump stations: A. Schedule A: South Welches Pump Station 1. The WORK to be performed under these SPECIFICATIONS and DRAWINGS consists of establishing erosion and sediment control, establishment of tree protection, establishment of temporary golf ball netting, establishment of temporary construction fencing, demolition of the existing building roof, demolition of the existing wet well top slab, demolition of the existing pumps, discharge piping, level sensors and valve vault, demolition of a section of the existing force main, tree removal, demolition of existing golf cart path, establishment of temporary bypass, installation of new building roof, with new HVAC, electrical and controls equipment, installation of a new wet well top slab with hatch, new pumps, new discharge piping, new level sensors, new concrete fillets in wet well bottom, new precast bypass vault with permanent bypass port, new precast valve vault, new drain pipe between new valve vault and existing wet well, new yard hydrant, new connection to existing force main, new disconnect panel and cable trench between new building and existing wet well, new generator with concrete base, new asphalt pavement, new aggregate site surfacing, new bollards and new paving to replace demoed golf cart path. B. Schedule B: Golf Club Terrace Pump Station 1. The WORK to be performed under these SPECIFICATIONS and DRAWINGS consists of establishing erosion and sediment control, demolition of existing wet well top slab, demolition of existing valve vault, demolition of existing cable box adjacent to wet well, demolition of existing building, demolition of existing fence and gate, demolition of existing overhead power, tree removal, establishment of temporary bypass, installation of new building with new water service, HVAC, electrical and controls equipment, new aggregate site surfacing, installation of new wet well top slab with hatch, new pumps, new discharge piping, new level sensors, new precast valve vault with air release valve, new precast bypass vault with permanent bypass port, new disconnect panel and cable trench adjacent to wet well, new generator with concrete base, new fence gates, new bollards, replacement fencing and utility gate and new connection to existing force main. C. Schedule C: 82nd Drive Pump Station
