Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Oxnard, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Questions Due Date: Aug 18th 2025, 2:00 PM PDT The project consists of the complete demolition and removal of the existing one-story Harbor Administration Building. Work includes removing multiple building structures, foundation, concrete walkways, asphalt parking lot, site utilities, landscaping, trees, fencing, and a CMU security wall along the adjacent U.S. Coast Guard property. Lead and Abatement of the property has been completed and not part of the scope. All questions concerning the plans, specification, requirements, terms, schedule, addenda, and any other matters related to the solicitations shall be submitted using online Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount bid, PAYABLE TO THE COUNTY OF VENTURA and guaranteeing that the bidder will enter into a contract in accordance with the terms of the bidding documents, if award is made. Bidders must have a Class A or Class C-21 California Contractors license. Upon award, the Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Agency is Allowed 60 Days to Award a Contract (See Section 2-1.1). The Starting Date of Contract Will Be 28 Calendar Days After Award of Contract (See Section 6-7.4). Completion Time is 60 Working Days (See Section 6-7). Liquidated Damages Are $750.00 Per Calendar Day (See Section 6-9)
