The City of Abilene Will Award the Contract to the Lowest Responsible Bidder. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids. FESTIVAL GARDENS FENCE PROJECT, AS PER SPECIFICATIONS. ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN SEALED ENVELOPES, BEARING ON THE OUTSIDE THE NAME OF THE BIDDER, HIS ADDRESS, THE NAME OF THE PROJECT AND THE BID NUMBER. ANY BIDS RECEIVED AFTER SCHEDULED CLOSING TIME FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS WILL BE MARKED RECEIVED LATE AND RETURNED TO THE SENDER. Scope of Work Install 1,847 ft. of 7 ft. tall, black vinyl fencing with (20) black vinyl coated posts: 2 3/8 line posts, 1 5/8 top rail, 2 7/8 corner & gate posts. A 24 wide double drive gate with 4 posts. Also to include a 10 wide by 6 deep concrete footer under the fence that is flush with the top of existing terrain and backfilled once footer is installed. City of Abilene Parks will carry out the demolition of the old fence prior to construction of new fencing.
