Locations included Are From Canal Street to the Intersection of Oldroute 9w and North Broadway - Which Was Identified Throughthe Nysdot Skid Accident Reduction Program (Skarp). Pavement at Skarp Location is Tested and Found to Have Reduced Skid Resistance in Wet Weather Conditions. The Eastbound and Westbound Ramps on Delaware Avenue and Northbound and Southbound Route 9w at Route 32 Will AlsoBe Resurfaced. The State Certifies That This Project Has Been Approved by the Regional Safety Evaluation Engineer and Signed Off by the Regional Traffic Engineer. County : Ulster As of July 29 , 2025, the project is in Final Planning status. Anticipated letting Year is 2025. NYDOT - Resurface the Asphalt Segments of Route 9w *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP).
