Site work for a water / sewer project in Ulster Park, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are sought for Contract No. TU-253, Sanitary Sewer Relining Project for Ulster Sewer District, Town of Ulster, Ulster County, New York. The proposal includes cleaning and relining 8,800 linear feet of 8 inch diameter sanitary sewer, 625 linear feet of 15 inch diameter sewer, and 340 linear feet of 24 inch diameter sewer, located on Ulster Avenue, Harwich Street, Leggs Mills Road, Morton Boulevard, and Dogwood Street Extension in the Town of Ulster. Bidders must submit proposals on forms provided, and bid on all items of work in the proposal. Each bidder must include security equal to not less than 5% of the base bid in the form of a certified check or bid bond. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the accepted bid. Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Section 3 firms are encouraged to respond. The Town of Ulster reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any or all bids as the interest of the Town may require. The Town is exempt from payment of State and local sales and compensating use taxes for materials incorporated into the project.
