The contract duration is 120 calendar days (4 months) from the Notice to Proceed. The Work includes but is not limited to: The Work of this Contract provides for the roof replacement at SEPTA's Southern Maintenance Facility, Bay 7, and includes demolition, decking, insulation, roofing, roof edge protection, and painting. The Contractor shall be required to provide and follow an asbestos abatement plan and Health and Safety Plan per Appendix 3004 Asbestos Control and Handling Program including air monitoring. The General Contractor shall furnish all materials, tools, equipment, supervision, administration and transportation, and perform all labor and services necessary to furnish, deliver, construct, install, connect and/or to interconnect and test as required to complete all work described in the Specifications and indicated in the Contract Drawings. No site visit has been established for this project. Any inquiries regarding this bid and any request for change, modification, or clarification of any aspect of these Contract Documents must be made in writing, via email, the Contract Administrator at least twelve (12) calendar days prior to the bid opening in order to be taken into consideration. No Site Visit has been established at this time. All bids must be submitted through SEPTA's Electronic Procurement System ("ePS"). Mailed or hand delivered bids will be rejected. The Bid will be opened electronically on the scheduled Opening Date/Time, and will be secure and unreadable by SEPTA until that time. Attendance at the Bid Opening Meeting is Non-mandatory. No bid will be opened and considered that is submitted later than the time specified. Each bid submitted shall remain firm for at least ninety (90) days from the date of the Bid Opening and may not be withdrawn in whole or in part during that time. By submitting a bid, the bidder certifies that the bid price is held firm for that time and any extension thereof.
