Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in S Yarmouth, Massachusetts. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, annual inspection and maintenance of variable frequency drives (VFDs), on-call troubleshooting and repair of VFD and related electrical equipment, and furnishing of approved replacement parts for the Yarmouth Water Division's well pumping stations. Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing to ssalemme@yarmouth.ma.us by 1:00 PM on August 7, 2025. Bids submitted on forms other than those specified in the IFB package will be rejected without further consideration. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price in the form of a bid bond or certified treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond equal to fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount. Liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day shall apply for failure to meet substantial completion and final completion deadlines. The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town.
