Renovation of a military facility in McConnell AFB, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Cooling Tower Repairs are to be performed in compliance with the attached PLANS and SPECIFICATIONS. The work to be performed includes but is not limited to: 1. Base Bid: Excluding the Options below, perform repairs to the Bldg 412 cooling towers in accordance with the SOW, Plans and Specifications (Attachments 1 & 2) provided herein. a. Cooling towers and associated turbine pumps, accessories, and electrical components shall be removed and replaced one system at a time with one cooling tower and associated components remaining in operation while the work is being performed. b. This work shall only be performed once the new cooling towers and turbine pumps have arrived on site. 2. Option 1: All work indicated to install new concrete encased electrical conduit for the electrical primary feeder as indicated on Sheets EP101 and ES101. 3. Option 2: All work indicated for the replacement of the Chilled Water Supply Pump (the system secondary pump), including all associated piping, controls, and electrical wiring as indicated on Sheets MD101, MP101, M-502, M-504, EP131. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 365 calendar days
