This is a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction project to centrifugally cast concrete lining of existing twin 78" diamter concrete pipe along the south side of Buildings 301 and 302, and incidental related work. MACC contract holders are to supply the names of all attendees (including their subcontractors) that they will be sending for the site visit, and shall provide completed 5512 and VCC forms for any attendees that do not have NSA Mechanicsburg DBIDS. This information shall be provided no later than July 30th, 2025 at 11:00 am by sending an email to craig.a.wilson86.civ@us.navy.mil and francis.a.caruso10.civ@us.navy.mil. RFIs must be submitted in writing to Francis Caruso at francis.a.caruso10.civ@us.navy.mil and Craig Wilson at craig.a.wilson86.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 5 calendar days after the site visit. Responses for RFIs submitted after the cut-off are not guaranteed, however every effort will be made to respond to those RFIs. Do not submit the same inquiry more than once. Please verify that inquiries submitted by you on behalf of your subcontractors are not duplicates. A response will be published via an amendment. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Contractor shall be required to: (a) commence work under this contract within 15 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 235 calendar days after notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $482.62 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.
